Property Management

Learn how to effectively manage multiple properties in Glarify.

Property Overview

Each property represents a GSC or GA4 data source. You can have:

  • Free Plan: Up to 2 data sources
  • Pro Plan: Up to 7 data sources
  • Business Plan: Up to 30 data sources

Subdomain Grouping

Automatically organize related domains:

How It Works

When enabled, subdomains group under their parent domain:

example.com (Parent)
├── blog.example.com
├── shop.example.com
└── docs.example.com

Enabling Subdomain Grouping

  1. Go to Settings → Display Preferences
  2. Toggle "Group Subdomains"
  3. Properties automatically reorganize

Aggregated Metrics

With grouping enabled:

  • Parent domain shows combined metrics
  • Click to expand and see individual subdomains
  • Each subdomain maintains its own detail view

Property Tags

Organize properties with custom tags for easy filtering.

Creating Tags

  1. Click any property card
  2. Click "Add Tag"
  3. Enter a tag name (e.g., "Client A", "E-commerce")
  4. Press Enter to save

Filtering by Tags

  1. In the All-in-One view, find the filter bar
  2. Click "Tags" dropdown
  3. Select one or more tags
  4. View shows only matching properties

Suggested Tag Categories

CategoryExamples
Client"Client: Acme Corp", "Client: TechCo"
Type"E-commerce", "Blog", "SaaS"
Region"US", "EMEA", "APAC"
Priority"High Priority", "Maintenance"

Excluding from Aggregation

Sometimes you don't want a property counted in totals.

When to Exclude

  • Test or staging sites
  • Properties with data quality issues
  • Sites under development
  • Properties you manage for clients (if tracking personal vs client)

How to Exclude

  1. Click the property's settings (⚙️) icon
  2. Toggle "Exclude from Aggregation"
  3. Property won't count toward combined metrics

Effect of Exclusion

  • Property still appears in the list
  • Individual metrics are still accessible
  • Excluded from "Total Clicks", "Total Impressions" etc.
  • Marked with an exclusion indicator

Bulk Actions

Perform actions on multiple properties at once.

Available Bulk Actions

  • Tag multiple properties
  • Exclude/include from aggregation
  • Delete properties
  • Export data

Using Bulk Select

  1. Click "Select" mode in All-in-One view
  2. Check properties you want to modify
  3. Choose action from the bulk action bar
  4. Confirm and apply
